Arches National Park is one of Utah’s “Mighty 5” national parks. Home to more than 2,000 natural arches it’s definitely worth the visit. The park is conveniently located near Moab, Utah which has a lot of lodging options. Canyonlands and Capitol Reef National Parks are a short drive away, making Arches the perfect place to make home base to visit three of the five national parks in Utah. Arches is also a very family friendly park for all ages. You have the opportunity to drive through the park and see many arches from viewpoints so hiking isn’t necessary. Balanced Rock Trail
Take a leisurely stroll around Balanced Rock on this 0.3-mile loop trail. The impressiveness of this rock formation is
only truly appreciated by taking it in from all different angles.

Devils Garden Trail
One of the longest trails in the park, Devils Garden is a 7.9-mile loop hike featuring many different arches. The most famous arch on this trail is Landscape Arch, with a whopping 306-foot opening. If this is the only thing you’re here for or you’re short on time, it’s just a short 1.9-mile out and back to see Landscape Arch.
Devils Garden trail is made a loop via the primitive loop trail. The primitive loop along with the 1,085-foot elevation gain make this a more difficult hike than others. Pick and choose your adventure and see just a few or all of the arches along the way.

Windows Loop Trail
Windows Loop is an easy 0.7-mile loop trail that takes you by Turret Arch, North Window Arch, and South Window Arch. This is also a great place to go stargazing when it gets dark.

Double Arch Trail
This is a short flat 0.6 mile out-and-back trail, just across from the Windows Trail. You can climb the rocks and sit under the arches!

BONUS:
Park Avenue Trail
This is one of the more unique trails in Arches National Park as it does not feature any arches. This is less than 4 miles from the entrance so it’s a good place to start your day. An easy 1.8-mile out-and-back trail.
