There is a lot to do in Dublin, you could spend weeks exploring the 700 pubs alone. These are the top 6 things I think you can’t miss on your next trip to Ireland!

Trinity College
Trinity College houses the Old Library and the famous Book of Kells. Book a timed entry to explore the library and see the Book of Kells, the college is free to enter.

Jameson Distillery
I found the Jameson Distillery to be more enjoyable than the Guinness Storehouse. We did the Bow St. Experience which is the least expensive at 25 euros per person. They also offer more in-depth tours and tastings, as well as a cocktail-making class.

Guinness Storehouse
It’s touristy, but it’s probably one of the most famous things to do in Dublin. You don’t need to spend more than an hour here. Go through the storehouse which is more like a museum, making your way to the top-floor Gravity Bar for an obligatory pint of Guinness.

Pubs
There is basically a pub on every corner in Dublin. Take your time pub hopping at night. Our favorite was The Cobblestone for the live music, but you also have to stop by The Temple Bar for at least one drink.

Visit the Cathedrals: St. Patrick’s and Christ Church
You don’t necessarily need to tour the insides of the cathedrals, but viewing them from the outside is a must!

Take a day trip to Northern Ireland
Last on the list is not technically in Dublin, but most of the tours leave from the city. Taking a day trip to Northern Ireland was one of the highlights of our trip and I highly recommend it if you have a day to spare!
